Admission policy

  The Department of Nursing aims to educate nurses who can work actively on the front lines of healthcare fields, in medical institutions, administrative and governmental agencies. Therefore, we accept students with a broad concept of the significance of nursing, a sense of social and community responsibility, and a desire for greater knowledge.

1) The Department of Nursing promotes respect for basic human rights and strives to educate nurses who can enhance the quality of holistic care.

2) The Department of Nursing seeks to educate nurses with sound clinical judgement who can make ethical decisions grounded in evidence-based nursing practice.

3) The Department of Nursing endeavors to educate nurses who can act autonomously and independently to enhance the quality of life of people under their care.

4) The Department of Nursing seeks to provide graduates with the competence to meet the healthcare needs of their communities by cooperating and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, patient-centered care.

5) The Department of Nursing fosters independent learning and the pursuit of excellence in nursing through lifelong study and research.

6) The Department of Nursing promotes an appreciation for other cultures and values, and prepares students to provide culturally competent care for people worldwide.
